Ricky Capps

Ricky CappsMaster's Voice has always had a heart for people. Since it's inception in 1995, some of
the kindest and most talented singers alive have passed through this ministry, but the one
constant has been their tenor, Ricky Capps.

Musically, one of the staples giving Master's Voice their incredibly unique sound is
how high they sing, and you can't do that without a substantial tenor. Most of the time,
any team will take on the identity of their leader, and Master's Voice has done that with
their leader. In today's world, where complacency seems to be the trend, it is easy when
evaluating this man's heart, to walk away knowing that there is not another human alive
that has a heart for souls like Ricky. "I always pay attention to others. I try to learn from
everyone. Throughout my life, whether it be my mother, or a pastor, or other members
of Master's Voice, I have always been blessed to have people teach me how to care and
see others through 'spiritual eyes.' I mean...I can't believe God allows me to be a part
of this. In 1995, I begged God to allow me to sing 1 song in front of my home church
without fainting or puking, and now He has led me to this. What a God we serve!"

In June of 2006, Ricky married his best friend, Sheena and they are now expecting their
first child! Sheena is the quintessential minister's wife…praying for him when he's
gone, and supporting every move Master's Voice makes. Ricky says, "She is the real
hero of Master's Voice. Without her willingness to allow me to say 'yes' to this calling,
none of this could be possible." When the group is home, if Ricky isn't playing golf or
watching ESPN, he is undoubtedly annoying Sheena.

"Honestly – when I am dead and gone, if people can't say that I reminded them of Jesus,
then my life was in vain."
